The underappreciated Emmanuel Adebayor is again under the spotlight for a possible transfer in this winter's transfer window.

Amidst this saga Monaco have announced interest in signing the player, hence, the whole dilemma which seemed to have settled, is back out in the wild. The Italian manager had earlier reiterated of his striker Adebayor to continue his contract with the Blue
part of Manchester.

With all these stars present at Manchester City, it obviously will be a tough task for Adebayor to gain more first team appearances. This is exactly why the striker has been requesting for a transfer.
For the 26-year-old striker, play time is an issue classified as top priority. The former Arsenal player has been meaning to reignite his career with good performances, which can only happen if he features in the starting line up more often.
There is a high probability of the player making a move back to Monaco, as he used to play with them during the seasons of 2003-2006. According to sources Monaco have presented a loan deal to Manchester City, which will last till the end of the season.
If the transition is successful, than expectedly, a permanent signing might take place and with lack of quality strikers up front it is expected that the French outfit will eventually welcome him back home.
At the moment Monaco are just 3 places from the bottom of the table, and as a result, see their former star as the man to provide them with rejuvenation. With Monaco, Adebayor scored 20 important goals in 100 caps. If their current form continues though,
