Emmanuel Eboue giving his all for Arsenal
Arsenal right-back Emmanuel Eboue has pledged his support for the team, saying he will devote all his energy to help make the 2010-11 season special for the Gunners.
Eboue has hardly featured for Arsenal in the season, but the Ivorian is a Gunner through and through. Emmanuel Eboue claims he does not care whether he plays or not, as long as Arsenal achieve success.
Speaking on his dedication to the London club, the right-back said, “I have this team in my heart, in fact it does not matter if I don't play, I still want us to win from the bottom of my heart. I will be ready to give everything I can to try to make this
season something special.”
The Ivory Coast international has had very limited time on the pitch in the season, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger opting to play http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bacary-Sagna-c7148 in his place. However, with Arsenal's congested fixture list, Eboue is starting to get a few opportunities
to prove his worth to the manager. The Ivorian is set to start in the fourth round FA Cup tie against Huddersfield at the Emirates Stadium.
Eboue believes if Arsenal can continue their current form, they would finally end their long-standing trophy doubt. The right-back said, “This is a team that can win something, for sure. If we continue to play our football and with confidence the side has,
I certainly believe that.”
Eboue has hardly been the most popular figure at the Emirates during his time with the Gunners. The Ivorian was once booed off the pitch after a dismal performance against Wigan back in December 2008.
Many fans believe that Eboue does not possess the high level of individual ability needed to make a name for himself at Arsenal. However, the Ivorian’s clear devotion to the club is sure to warm the hearts of even the most critical Gunners fans.
