Emmanuel Frimpong admits he had doubts over Arsenal future, following injury – Premier League Update
Arsenal youngster, Emmanuel Frimpong has gone on to admit that he had massive doubts about his future as a Gunner, following a nasty injury that he picked up in his early days as a Gunner.
The midfielder believed that with the number of holding midfielders/central midfielders in the team, he just didn’t stand a chance of ever making it back into the squad. However, all of that seems to have changed, since he has been given more first team
opportunities then he would have ever imagined to have gotten.
"When I got my injury last season, I thought I would never get my chance for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429," Frimpong told reporters.
"I thought players like [Abou] Diaby, [Alex] Song and [Aaron] Ramsey would all be back from their injuries before me. But you cannot predict anything in football. I just have to keep trying to force the issue."
The player has admitted that he still has a long way to go as a player, but he has been trying to get his head into the right place. The midfielder often rushes into tackles and was sent off in his first game for the Gunners, as he saw a red card against

“I still try my best to go into challenges but I think twice about what kind of challenges I go in for. That's normal and I'm just looking to learn.”
The midfielder, despite being as young as he is, has gone on to produce some brilliant performances in recent weeks. He has shown a new sense of maturity and tends to make some brilliant instinctive decisions on the pitch.
At the moment, it seems like the young midfielder might just prove to be Arsenal’s enforcer in the middle of the mark, for a number of seasons to come in the future and in turn leaving the manager with one less position to worry about.
