Emmerdale question - what happened with Katie and the baby?

I was on holiday a few weeks ago...I went away just after the episode where Purdy had done a runner from the hospital and Grayson didn't see her taxi driving away. I've watched it the last two weeks and know that Katie is back, Grayson has sold his house and Purdy doesn't seem to be anywhere. Can any Emmerdale fans fill the blanks for me because I want to know what Grayson did next and what happened with it all! Thanks.

Gray left Emmerdale in disgrace, having been outed, and Perdy just drove off in a taxi, no one apart from Katie who supposed to have visted her, has seen her since. Taking that into account because as far as i am aware the actress who plays Perdy left the series.

thats it, im afraid. Lots more has happend, its a funny old programme i must admit.
