ok, It was my first day at a new school last monday. I felt really out of place. Well, I heard that last year at this school that they banned all "Emo looks" I've started to ask around and no one will tell me. They say I'm not ready to find out! Well i thought "What the h**l does that mean?!?!"

So what does that mean, "Emo"?

What the first poster said is correct. But its not some, ALL emo kids cut, are depressed, have emotional problems I knew a lot of Emo kids at my school and thats what they told me.

Scene kids dress the same and their hair is the same, but they're not all depressed like Emo kids.

lol 'Emo' is just a generalization like 'prep' or 'punk'.  It's someone who is outwardly emotional whether it be physical in clothes, the way they act, or the music they listen to.
