You have just been invited to the great lord's banquet, at his castle. Explain why you have been invited. Describe the banquet itself, where it was held, the layout of the table, what food was prepared, where you were seated.

You were in invited because you are a famous vampire hunter investigating rumours. You were staying at the inn in the nearby village but a mute servant arrived in a black coach to deliver the invitation. At the banquet there is only yourself and, at the far end of the long dining table, the count. Very rare meat is served. The table is long and there is only a cobwebby candelabra to decorate it. The talk of fine wines turns to the failure of the crops in the region these past seasons. The count complains of tiredness, bids you a good night and retires early. You are shown to an austere and cold room, a huge echoey chamber with an ancient four poster bed.

Your teacher may be a bit disappointed but there is plenty of scope for dialogue.
