Empirical formula?

i just have this question left and i don't know how to do it, i'm completely lost here.

1.) a compound contains only carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen. Combustion of .157g of the compound produced .213g of CO2 and .031g of H2O. In another experiment it is found hat.103g of the compound produces .023g of NH3. What is the emperical formula of the compound?

  1. I'm too tired to try and solve it...but I'm guessing the approach would be to use the NH3 to figure out the N and H portion, then back up to the combustion equation to solve for O (by using H2O and your already solved H), then solve for C (using your newely found O).
