Employee who tried to commit suicide at his residence?

should the employee allowed to come back to work without going to some sort of rehab? the employee tried cutting his wrist and taking a over dose.

  1. Normally when that happens, you have to take counseling as part of your release agreement (at the hospital).

    I would let him/her come back and mind my own business as long as they are able to work.

    I would be afraid of pushing them to actually killing themselves if I let them go.


  2. There are 8 week programs you could try to get him to and offer to pay for. But if you do not pay him part salary and pay for 8 week program. You might put too much undo burden on him.
