Employees I work with say I don't do any work

Question

I work in retail in midnights at a 24-hour store. Now the guys, we all talk trash from time to time, but this is getting to me. They make remarks on me not doing anything, and its getting worse. They know its getting to me. I do allot, I put myself through stress sometimes, even if I slack on other days.. They do the same exact thing during there shifts. Only differance is, they can get tons more done because the ammount of employies they have is more than 3x everyday to our shift. I'm the only man on the floor..

So, my question is, could I get an employee introuble for making these snide remarks? I know it sounds like its nothing, but they truly believe it, and they have such conviction and anger behind there words sometimes.. and there doing it more and more.. Is there a word for what that could be? Some form of harassment?

Well, they are immature and probably upset at you  because they envy the fact that your shift is a little more easy going.  Anyway,  youre in a tough spot.   If your run to your boss, you may seem like a baby cry, and immature.  It might turn your boss off to deal with such c**p, however, if you feel that its becoming a harrassment, then yes, by all means, schedule a one to one meeting with your boss and tell him or her  "I didnt want to have to bother you with something like this, however, these guys keep on making remarks about how I never do anything, and its really starting to become an issue.  Its been going on for awhile now, and I just want to let you know before situations escelate into something deeper."    Reassure your boss that you will maintain your composure, that you are working the best you can, and that if it is possible to make it so that you two guys dont run into eachother.    Im not sure what youre looking for, for him to get fired??  It might take more than that.   Be ready to have a meeting with him and the boss, your boss my try to mediate, and if your boss is easy going, get ready for even more ridicule as they might say that youre a tattle tale.
