Okay so I work seasonal, but this september I'm going to be going away to college.. in Ontario.

Can I still collect employment insurance, when i'm away at school?

  1. No.  Employment Insurance is paid to individuals to prevent them from falling on hard times while they look for another full time job.

    Clearly, if you're going to be in college, you will not be actively looking for full time employment.

    Do you really think all of the employed people in the country should fund your education?
