Please comment on how your prior education and experiences qualify you for the type of employment you are seeking. Detail any past responsibilities and achievements.

  1. Without knowing what job you're applying for, this is a pretty tough question.  In fact, it's a pretty tough question for me to answer for myself without knowing what job I was applying for.


  2. Ok, of course this entirely depends on your experience etc but when a potential employer asks that, what you need to do is:

    Look at the job description. There should be essential and/or desirable qualities for the job, for example good teamworker or good problem solver. What you should do is take each requirement and think of a specific example of when you have had to do that or had a problem around that.. Then put the example on the application form. The example must detail exactly what YOU did to solve the problem and the what overall outcome was. Try to avoid the words 'we' or 'the team', it shoudl all be 'I did this...'

    If you can't think of an example where you solved the problem, think of one where someone else did but you knew what happened and say you did it. They'll never check.

    Add your qualifications in on a seperate paragraph at the end.
