Employment visa for Dubai?

Hi there,

My husband (US American) is going to start to work in Dubai in September. We still did not get a work visa. Is that normal? When do you think we will get the work visa? Or do we have to enter Dubai first and then apply? Do we have to do anything or will the company take care of everything? Will I get a work or a residence visa only? What could I do to get a work visa? Thank you!

and what about cancellation of my work visa to husband visa? do i have the right to asked for the cancellation of my work visa? i am a filipina and just married to an indian man this month and he want me to apply for a husband visa . is our nationaly diffennce will affect for the husband visa application/. please help me
