Enable broadcast channels on phone?

Question

I have a T-mobile Wing.

On the phone settings, there's a tab that says "more"

and it takes you to a screen that says:

Automatic Pickup (answer incoming calls without pressing talk)

Broadcast Channels (enable)

Fixed Dialing.

Now, I read the manual, searched through the index and I can't seem to find anything on "Broadcast Channels"... I'm just super curious if anyone knows its function..

Setting Broadcast Channels option enable, will allow your phone to receive digital services like Radio and TV on your mobile. Currently to my knowledge these services are not provided by T-Mobile.
