why can't they just grow Enamel for your teeth, take a mould etc & then just file the Enamel into the shape of your new teeth, do some surgery & whack them all in, they could charge you a fortune.

  1. ummmm, cos they already do!!!!

The best affordable thing is enamel building toothpaste & mouth wash

  2. Good question.

There is research going on to reproduce actual tooth enamel.

    Unfortunately its.. still only research.

You can use fluoride mouthwashes and toothpaste to restrengthen enamel. But once there is a cavity there.. the enamel cant be rebuilt back and you need to get a filling done or some other form of dental work.

  3. This is what is available for now....helps to restore enamel:

  4. They already do this (called implants) and they do charge a fortune. I now have 9 of them, and they're $4400.00 per tooth. You can't grow enamel, since it is neither living tissue nor crystalline. A post is sunk into the bone (and a bone graft) in the socket from the extracted tooth, an impression is taken, the crown is cast metal coated with porcelain and they cement it onto the post.
