Encrypted Message prevalent in the Robin Parke Memorial Handicap
The three-year-old bay gelding, Encrypted Message, has earned himself the nod for the Robin Parke Memorial Handicap that will be raced over a mile and three furlongs at Killarney on Wednesday, 29th August. Seven three-year and above runners have
turned for the race that has promised the winner the prize of €7,245.
The young under charge of trainer, D. K. Weld, has raced just four times after entering the career and has won only once and remained at the second position for the other three races.
The three-year-old had his career debut in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund (C & G) Maiden on 21st May, 2012 at Roscommon over a mile and two furlongs. He missed the race by 1 ¼ lengths due to which Massiyn won the race.
The runner-up was paired up with jockey, Pat Smullen, for the race.
The bay gelding did not win the very next race but he did maintain the composure and qualified as the runner-up for a second time. He was entered as the favourite in the Lynn Lodge Stud Maiden on 15th June, 2012 at Navan over a mile and two furlongs.
King’s Warrant won the race in partnership with, N. G. McCullagh, by the margin of short head’s difference.
The Moyglare Stud Farm owned went all out in the third career outing after missing the chance of clearing the maiden twice before.
The bay gelding out of mare, Where We Left Off, won the Family Funday At Fairyhouse Maiden on 15th July, 2012 at Fairyhouse over seven furlongs.
Coupled with the regular jockey, the three-year-old raced in fifth after taking off from the ninth gate and as the home turn approached, he closed in on the leaders. With the final furlong just on the horizon, he drew clear from the rivals and edged past,
Unanimous, by half a length.
The Irish bay gelding raced his debut handicap on 30th July, 2012 at Galway over a mile and four furlongs in the Galway Oyster Hotel Handicap. The favourite entry finished a respectable second after losing the race by the margin of 3 ¾ lengths.
It is highly likely that the 15 to 8 entry will land the race while riding with his regular jockey.
