End of Summer Party? Ten points =]

Question

I am thinking about having a party next week for the end of summer. I need some ideas for games and decorating. I am going to have a tiki bar and im going to string lights around our fence. I will also buy some tiki torches to help keep bugs away. I will have a volleyball net up and i am thinking about camping too. Are there any fun games we could play?

What about decorations?

Funny this had one last week,

if you mean computer games

my friends and I (consisting of boys and girls) all loved Wii Sports, Super Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart Wii went down a treat! on the Xbox 360 Beijing 2008 (the girls enjoyed it and thats something considering those 4 :-D) and PES (same again)

on the PS3 we all loved Soul calibur 4 we played non console games two which were twister, hearts (Card game!) 21 (Pontoon Blackjack) decoration wise just go for something abit crazy and colourful!

Capture the flag is my favorite game in the world:

There are two teams. Team A hides their flag while Team B looks the other way. The flag must be partially visable and in boundaries. Team A also must have a "referee" who watches Team B making sure they do not cheat. Repeat when Team Bs turn.

There are two sides. Each team has a side (where there flag is) if anyone from another Team leaves their side you may tag them and go to jail. Other teamates may run and tag 1 PERSON ONLY to return from jail. They get a freewalk back. Teams can make "chains" when several people are in jail. They are also aloud to wander around as long as it is close to the jail. First team to get the flag wins!

Nice idea (: My friend and I just had a back to school party(end of summer) on thursday. It turned out great. About fifty people showed..as long as there are a lot of your friends, it should be fun. We went with paper lanterns! They're very cute. They have some at Target for about thirteen bucks. For music..we just plugged my iPod into an amp, and it was very loud. Anything Top 40, plus lots of hip hop to dance to. And maybe a few slow songs, kinda depends. We also hung up a ton of streamers. The main colors were bright, like red, orange, pink, yellow, lime green, etc. Very summery. The napkins and tablecloths matched that.

And, umm..lets see. For food we made little sandwhiches(turkey, ham, mustard, etc), and put little umbrellas in them. We had a cooler filled with pop, and we made cheese dip, and had chips, cookies, and brownies. Yours sounds like it would be fun. I'm assuming it will be a boy/girl party..those are the best, of course (: haha. For games, we just had a dance off. A few of the guys will go up against eachother, and some of them actually have some good moves. I recommend Crank That Soulja Boy, Spiderman, or Batman. Most people know the dances to that, and it's always a way to get dancing going. You could also start a circle of people, and someone will dance in the middle. That's definetely fun. Oh, and since it's summer, you should wear a cute sundress. Thats what we did. Pac Sun has a TON of cute dresses, you should check them out.
