Question:

End of the Summer blahs/blues?

Every year, since I was a small child, I would get real sad or teary eyed in August. I don't know if it had to do with the end of summer or back to school, but I don't think so. It's just I feel sad and can't explain why. This will usually last until the leaves start to change (around mid-Sept.) and then I am fine the rest of the year. Anybody else go through this?

  1. I feel the blues everytime I am in the pool...strange but true. Other people tried to explain something bad must have happened surrounding the pool when I was younger...not necessarily a traumatic experience ie: could just be because of a dead frog in the pool or I was grossed out by something in the pool.

You may not "think" it is because of a particular event that happened in August, but our minds have a way of suppressing strong emotions or reactions to something. The answer could lie in your subconscious...is all I'm saying. You can always ask a counsilor or therapist about these things to be sure. Take care.
