End-of-the-Year Teacher Gifts?

I want to give my teachers a gift for the end-of-the-year. My homeroom teacher has been the best teacher Ive ever had so I want her to kno that. My other 4 teachers were great too. My math teacher might not be in the school next year so I want to give her something special. The other three teachers I'll have next year but I still want to give them something special.

Im thinking about giving each teacher a homemade card and I dont kno what else. Oh and I also gave in money for a whole group gift thing for each teacher that one of the students mom does every year.

Any ideas would be helpful! Thanx in advance! ^-^

  1. how much can you afford?

  2. a gift card to somewhere nice along with the card

  3. You can get a teacher almost anything. Some thing are mugs, jewlery, flowers etc. It all depends on her/his sense of style!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I usually give teachers gift cards to resturants or stores. Also something that is really usefull for them is a gift card to a teachers store so they can buy new matierials and posters and decorations for next yr.

  5. Gift certificates and or stickers, pencils etc. are the most useful. Homemade cards are very meaningful as well. A bottle of wine or a plant is also a thoughtful gift. Most teachers get a lot of candles and mugs so I wouldn't get them that as they may get regifted down the line (it is hard to use so many mugs!!) If you gave some money towards a gift, then probably you shouldn't spend any more...just give your teacher the card...

  6. As a former teacher, I would say that the very best gift you can give your teachers would be the card with a special letter inside telling them what they mean to you and how they've impacted your life.  Other than that, a framed picture of the two of you together or a gift certificate to a restaurant or coffee house would be appreciated, but honestly, most teachers I know would rather you keep your money and write  the letter.  (It's very sweet of you to want to do this...)

  7. I gave my math teacher the history of mathmatics

an my enviorment teacher tomato plants from m garden.

so go with stuff from the subjects which they teach.

  8. Nice handmade portraits or paintings made from photos are always a good gift idea. You can find more such ideas at http://www.paintyourlife.com. They make all types of personalized and unique portraits on oil, pencil, charcoal or on canvas.

The same company also makes wonderful photo prints on canvas in various designs. Visit http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com

  9. CARD , FLOWERS, CHOCS, BATH STUFF , CANDELS, MUG, ETC.

    X

  10. small gadgets like pins or posters that say besy teacher alot of teachers like pencils that say "Ms.(whatever her name is)" But if your teacher is really moody give her a hug and maybe some bath and body works products alot of teachers are srtessed out from the year so give some relaxation!

  11. I gave my social teacher a model of the globe lol

  12. That's really sweet.  I'm married to a teacher and I love it when he brings home gifts like candy or homemade treats (so I can steal them!).  Also, supplies for next year are very nice, like colored pencils, dry erase markers, etc.  You could include a little note saying it's for the next class.

But a homemade card is probably the most meaningful, I know  my husband has held on to his for a long time.
