End of the road for roger fedrer?

Well according to me roger fedrer should forget about winning the french open now until nadal is playing fedrer has no chance and i think next y'r it's going to be a nadal/djokovic final and fedrer should rather concenterate on winning wimbledon and beating sampras's record!!

yes i agree... his window of opurtunity is closing tighter and tigher at the french open.. and even wimbledon he might be upset there this year as well....

i wouldn't really say its the end of the road for roger federer. Agassi won french open and achieved career grand slam when he was already 29 yrs old. Agassi even won 3 more slams before he retired. federer still have 2 more years before he turns 29. 2 to 3 more good chances to get the french open.  but if its nadal on the other side of the court, roger's chances are slim. roger might win roland garros if by some reason nadal didn't make it to the final. but i think it would be much MUCH sweeter if roger wins the roland garros by defeating nadal.

i think federer can convincingly beat djokovic in roland garros. we can't really use the results between nadal-djokovic and nadal-federer matches to predict the outcome between federer-djokovic. i think djokovic posted a better result against nadal than federer because djokovic's game plays better against nadal than federer's game.

well i think that fedrer will lose wimbledon and us open and he will lose his no1 spot to nadal ....nadal is the best

I remember 3 years ago when Roger failed to defend his Aussie Open crown, remember when Safin won it?

Well, Federer only made the semis at the French.

And yet.

He still won both Wimbledon and U.S. Open.

Why is it that every year after Nadal wins the French Open people are saying Federer is done?

I agree, Novak will soon overtake as #1, but Federer ain't done yet.

yes Fedex has no chance of winning French Open until he starts to play his best tennis I still believe Federer on his best day can beat nadal on clay

At the French, at least. Federer is good on clay, but Nadal may never lose another match on the surface. I would say Federer should focus on the other Majors. His game doesn't suit clay. All of his artistry is muted by it. I am rooting at least 110% for Federer at Wimbledon... and the US Open. He should forget about  Roland Garros. That's Rafa's domain.
