End of the world question?

IS THIS TRUE: It's 2012 not 2010.

I'm curious, the Mayans said it didn't mean that the world would end but there would be great change.

The Mayans believed the world had changed three times before. The first was by beast, the second was by fire and the third by water. (First time by dinosaurs, second by the comet that hit the Yucatan peninsula, third by the flood?)

if it is, the third time is suppose to be when the world "changes in 2012 right?

so there is going to be a flood that going to change the world?

The comet that hit the Yucatan Peninsula killed all the dinosaurs. So that would only be one.

Anyway, no one can be sure if the world will end on December 21, 2012. The Mayan calender ends on this date, but I only think something significant will happenon this day.

Hanh? Dinosaurs ended the world? Never heard that one before.

Just because the Mayans stopped their calendric calculations at 2012, I don't see why that should mean there would be a great change in that year. Unless they continued their calendar forever, there would always be a date on which the calendar ended and then people would start speculating the way they are now.

I do, however, believe that a great, great world change is coming soon, but I believe on the basis of Bible prophecies, which give us far more reason to believe them (that is, so many have come true in the past and so many point to our day as "the time of the end"--not the end of the earth, but of imperfect human society as we know it). For a pretty good description of present "civilization," take a look at 2 Timothy, Chapter 3, verses 1-5 or so. There are also prophecies with a time element to them.

i've hurd dat it's gona be the end of the world soon i don't know about 2012 . becuz all the stuff that happend in the bible that happen before god died is happening now wit all the floods around the world and a hole mess of people dieing dat is a sign the world is gona end soon.. plus each year is getting hotter and colder .. i think the world will end soon..

I think it's flood. Bermuda has this active volcanoe and if it does eurpt then it will send waves covering down to the tip of florida. You might see changes by 2012 seeing that it's already bad in we're just in 2008, but it wouldn't end.

Well if you cross myths the bible says the rainbow was gods promise to never flood the world again so... I doubt it.

By water, water poisoning, global warming "lack of water."

Expand your horizons.

Another thing is if you cross myths a flood already happened so  did these three things already happen. Was that history or prophesy or both. "History is doomed to repeat itself."

Hold up: are really going to listen to that c**p? here's one thing: When God wants the world to end, it will end. We can't just decide when it's going to end, only god has the power to control the earth! and , THERE WILL BE NO FLOOD. god promised us that he wil never flood the earth again!

no flood will god promised no more floods and they it will happen then but i will not believe it because god comes when he ready.its like saying your friend wants ice cream but your friend says no i want pizza she changed her mind. the point is you predicted something but don't if you right like hypothesis an educated guess and that's what there are doing they don't really god knows when the time is right
