End of the year gifts for teachers?

i am in the 8th grade and im graduating

id liek to give presents to a few teachers

3 male social studies teachers...one of them is umm a star wars harry poetter fan..one is a martin scorcese look alike[if tht helps] and one is a father and husband and is umm well a good teacher[sry if no help]

1 female english teacher..she is sarcastic,relates to teens , everyoe loves her, great teacher

1 female math teacher...has a certain atitude which throws people off but veyr helpful

and 1 female science teacher..earrh sciecne teacher

people loe her and shes very helpfull

but im jsut trying to get them a gift as being my favorite teacherss

I'm a teacher so I have tons of gifts from students from over the years.  Your teachers really don't want decorations or anything like that -- they already have tons.  You also don't need to spend a lot of money.

I have always treasured heartfelt cards the most.  If a student tells me how much s/he has appreciated me in sincerity, that's very rewarding.  Tell them specifically *what* you like about them (i.e., you can relate to teens, or whatever).  That will be nicer than anything else.

A heartfelt note would really do the trick for any teacher, but it is very nice to accompany it with a small token of gratitude.

For men, it is so hard, I would just give some sort of food (something from Harry and David's, or some nice brand coffee or whatnot).

For the english teacher, I know this sounds weird, but I remember seeing in a store a jar-like thing that said "ashes of problem students" which was really funny to me. anything humorous like that is definitely great for a sarcastic teacher.

If not, I like decorative fans (like the ones you have to wave by hand) they are pretty and they are perfect for summer

I agree that a nice card with a personal thanks would be appreciated.You could also buy a nice pen which is a useful and practical gift.I think most teachers would appreciate a student telling them they havemade a difference.You are a thoughtful young lady.All the best.

Write each one a thank you card.  Believe me-- the seemingly simplest gestures mean the world to teachers.

Coffee cards are always well received by teachers, accompanied by a thoughtful card and a commuter mug will make it even better!
