  1. i think that there should be really cool mocktail drinks at a kinda bar set up.

    definatly music (LOUD)

food should probly be just appi stuff

and someone should be taking pictures to put on facebook or something so evryone can remember the moment

  2. Have lots of things available - board games, karaoke, outdoor games such as croquet, badmitton, etc. Music and an area for dancing. This describes a lot of parties I went to in high school, and they were all a blast!

Give people some choices of things to do, and they will have a fun time!

  3. Set up a volleyball net and offer volleyball and badmitten.

Get an inflatable kiddie pool and fill it with water, break into 2 teams and have a tug of war, the losing team ends up in the pool!

    Water balloon fights!

Relay races.  Potato sack races, three legged races, etc.

Pie eating contest, but instead of pie, fill the pie tin with whipped cream and whoever finishes first, wins!

Set up an ice cream bar.  Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and some toppings.  Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cherries and let everyone make their own sundaes. You can get waffle cone bowls at the grocery store next to the ice cream cones.

For food, have what you and your friends like.  If you want to do a bbq, serve hamburgers and hot dogs, if everyone likes pizza, have that, if everyone likes tacos, have a taco bar.  Do what you all like and what your favorites are!

Make sure to offer lots of drinks. Water, soda, iced tea, and lemonade.

Snacks too, chips and things for everyone to snack on in between the meal.

Being the party is outside, set up some lounge chairs and make sure there's shaded areas for people to hang area at.  Not everyone is going to want to participate in everything, so make sure to have chairs and shade for those that want to sit and watch the festivities!

If you have a pool, you may not want to do  a pool party, but your friends would LOVE it!  Not everyone has a pool and would love to spend some time swimming.  You can open the pool and still do all the yard games and activities and break it up.  If you have a pool, I would offer both because half of your guests are going to be wishing that you let them in there, it's going to be hot more than likely and most people have more fun, and they're going to wish you let them enjoy the pool too.

If you want your guests to have fun, share your pool. If you have it, otherwise what they will remember is that you did NOT let them in it.  It's just my opinion but all the parties I've seen at your age and teens, everyone wants to hang out and be in and out of the pool.  You can do other things, and they WILL be more willing to do the other things if you offer the swimming with it, otherwise they're going to ask you why they can't go in the pool and that's what they're going to remember, that you didn't let them in, unless you say your mom said no, so if you really don't want them to be in the pool make sure to tell them your parents said no one is allowed in the pool during the party.

I hope some of these ideas help and that you have a great party!
