  1. gift certificates are always great - to a theme park, a restaurant, the movies, a salon for a massage - what teacher doesnt need one of those. depending on the teachers personality. dont give her something lame like a "worlds best teacher" mug or something.

  2. Hi, I design and sell watches.  Check out my store on eBay - SR Creation's Watches and More or my website miniaturesintime.googlepages.com  (no www).  I make teachers watches.  It might get expensive depending on how many you have to buy.  Hope you like them.

  3. I got a tote bag from www.positivepromotions.com and filled it with supplies that are on the teacher's wish list.

  4. I usually give them a starbucks gift certificate, who does not like cofee?

Also a flower vase, it is not impersonable and every one always need one

  5. its not a summery thing, but what about a class picture you took and put in a "teacher" frame... u know.. "worlds greatest teacer" with an apple on it. i dunno.

  6. check out this website, you can purchase a candle with an engraved wooden lid that has a message on it and an symbol.  They make really great gifts for anyone and best of all they are personalized.

    http://www.hatcreekcandle.com/

They can burn the candle all summer and they have summer scents which are seasonal or they have their regular classic candle scents which consist of their best sellers.

    Hope this helps you.

  7. Not sure how old your kids are, but if they are elementary, you could have them paint their hands and then stamp them on a potholder or kitchen towel. Then, use a sharpie or permanent marker to have your child write his/her name and date on it.  Another neat idea might be to make an ornament the teacher can hang on his/her tree at the holidays. I am a teacher and I love seeing things from my students on my Christmas tree! :)

  8. As a teacher, I can honesty say that some of the best gifts I have gotten have been school supply related.

It would be great to get a gift basket that had teacher supplies like pens, pencils, post-it notes, a new stapler, stickers, or anything else like that. It would be a great way to start off the new school year by already having those items on hand.

If you're doing summer only related gifts, I would suggest a magazine, some popcorn, some candy, and maybe a bottle of sparkling juice. Tell them to throw themselves a party :)

  9. a wal-mart gift card! : )

depending on how much you or they liked the teacher depends on how much money you put on the card. u can buy just about anything at wal-mart.

  10. A nice plant or flowers she can root in a garden would be nice and appropriate, or a gift certificate for a local teaching supplies shop would certainly be appreciated.
