End stage renal failure and time line?

Question

Now, if someone is going to go into end stage renal failure, and no meds are administered to prolong life, what would approximately be the time line until death? Is there anything that says even one month to several years depending? He has polycystic kidneys.

I have renal failure and I am on dialysis.I was told you can be on dialysis for many many years,I have esrf and with dialysis feel absolutely fine.I have home dialysis called APD, its done every night for 7 hours, its quite good and doesnt interfere with your daily life.
