Is it possible that a manufacturer who offers a lifetime warranty on a product can all of sudden decide the warranty is no longer existent even if the reason for return or exchange is valid?

  1. That's disturbing, I would follow-up with a complaint letter to the company.  State in the letter that you are going to write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper that the company does not honor their warranty.

Make a copy of the letter and send it out registered mail so someone has to sign for it, do this once a week until you get an answer.  If you don't get an answer in 6 to 8 weeks, copy the mailing receipts with a copy of the original letter and send to the Better Business Bureau. At least you'll have the satisfaction of your complaint being reviewed by the BBB and this is public information.

Then write an article to the editor of you local newspaper to inform others of your experience with the company who does not honor their warranty.

    Good Luck To You
