  1. it's not an endangered specie...but the number of bees have deminished a lot world wide. i read this in a newspaper a while ago, that the number of bees is smaller and smaller in a lot of countries (from 25% to 85%), because of pesticides and other factors. if bees dissapear, there will be no more fruits and other vegetables that need polenisation.

  2. If you learnt high school geography and life sciences, you must know that all plant species to animal species to humans are interdependent on food chain. So if the food chain is distrubed somewhere it will have  a affect on humans too. Read about food web or food chain on the internet.

  3. Sure.  Bees are at risk right now, from something called "hive collapse"  .  They do almost all the pollination involved with our food chain.  Without them we may die

  4. I'm don't know what country you live in but there was a program on ABC (Australia) that talk about Ocean acidification and how this process is endangering coral on the Great barrier reef and how this may have a flow on effect up the food chain to humans (e.g. Shellfish, crustaceans).

  5. When animal species become endangered it effects humans in several ways.  First, we act and do something to save that species.  We raise money, build sanctuaries, and staff the sanctuaries to protect the animals from further endangerment and eventually extinction.  We also will feel the repercussions when those animals become extinct.  Some of us will feel blame and do something more about it.  We then raise more money, lobby for animal protection, change laws and enact laws to protect the animals that are surviving.  This often extends into saving forests, swamps and areas of animal habitats.  This can lead to problems for people living in those areas.  They are no longer allowed to build on those lands or drive on those lands.  Further, our grandchildren and their children are left to carry on in the same manner if they too care to do something about protecting the animals.
