I need 1 ot 2 endangered plants for a school science project, anyone??

  1. They are an endangered species already. Why would you want to add to their demise in a school project. Thankfully most of these are protected.  Please, please show some common sense and do not try too continue with this project.

    You sound like a victorian butterfly catcher who pinned countless rare species to display boards, leaving us unable to see them in the wild.

    Remember, leave them for future generations to enjoy, not just look at in text books.

  8. Obtaining  an endangered plant from a nursery is not something you can do cheaply and usually there are waiting lists for when these plants become available. The alternative is to obtain one from the wild but this is often a felony charge that can land you in jail with a hefty fine.

    How about good old fashioned corn (Maize) /Zea Mays/?

    It sounds like it's not endangered, right? Well, almost all commerically grown corn is so closely related to each other that one disease could wipe out every last corn crop.
