They have a chance due to many reasons. Like pollution, hunters / poachers , illegal selling of rare animals, everything is caused by humans.

Humans are the direct reason for extinction today.  In the rain forests of South America hundreds of ant species may inhabit a single tree, and some of those species may be exclusive to that tree.  Therefore every tree cut may cause a species to go extinct.  

Your collage should include animals where humans have introduced predators (cats and dogs unto elephant birds and dodos), manatees which are cut up by boat propellers, birds whose eggs are diminished by chemicals (bald eagles and vultures are DDT survival stories), whales over-fished to the brink, and predators shot because of agriculture (cougars and wolves are returning).  They should also include hunted animals like bison which may have been slaughtered to reduced the Native American into extinction.

read up on Darwin...the fit survive.....man did no cause the end of the dinosaur...climate did...and the earth has been growing warmer for millions of years without mans help...most of the united states was covered in ice before people... the ice was gone BEFORE humans came..
