Endometrial ablation or Hysterectomy?

Question

Been having irregular periods for several months now and my GYN suggested ablation as an alternative to a hysterectomy. Any women ever had an ablation?

Had really heavy periods that wouldn't allow me to leave the house one day per month. Had the ablation done over a year ago, very happy. Life changing. Had it done outside the USA and the doctor wasn't as "aggressive" as I wanted, so I still have a very light period. Just wear liners as tampons are too much now.

Yes, had it done 2 years ago. It was wonderful after I healed.

No periods

It's done on a outpatient basis,

home the same day,

little bloody discharge,

little cramping

better than a hysterectomy if you ask me,cause you heal faster.
