  1. I suffered from endometriosis since I was 16 years old. It is not unusual for you to have a deep red blood from the vaginal cavity which could be mistaken for black, because it looks black, that is how red it is. It is also not unusual for you to have clots - sometimes my clots were the size of golf balls or larger.

    If you are really concerned as to the color and amount of clots which you are passing it would be wise to discuss this with your doctor.

    It is never a good idea to douche-it removes the v****a's natural secretions, and never should you be douching if you have endometriosis, I would ask your doctor that question and see if he thinks it is o.k. for you to be douching. Good luck to you.
