Endurance riding as an Olympic Sport?

Question

Does anyone know if they are considering adding endurance riding in as an Olympic Sport in addition to the regular 3-day event stuff? I personally would like to see it added.

I know that they hold some international endurance riding competitions, but as far as I know it has not been added into the olympics.

 Guest796: have u ever ridden 100 miles? If you have i don't think u would be saying endurance is not a sport. I have done the 7 foot jumps and it is no where near as hard as racing 100 miles at speeds like we are doing.
