Energy, water and polution issues are all very important so why not use good engineering to fix them?

All the polution generated by humans is a result of poor engineering and good engineering can eliminate the problems related to polution at very little cost. Oil and water can be produced in abundance if good engineering is applied to constructing the systems neede to dothe jod. So, why not just use good engineering and fix all these problems rather than continuing doing stupid studies about how bad the problems are. We all know this.

Maybe the problem is a lack of good engineers that are being turned out by the American educational system. But I agree. To much talk/studies. And not enough action.
