Question:

Energy calculator that lets me put in my own cost per kwh?

I'm looking for an energy calculator that will let me fill in how many cents I'm charged per kwh by my own personal company, and then help me figure out the costs of running appliances in my home. I've seen calculators that have a predetermined cost-per-kwh, often 10 cents, but that's not what I'm charged, and I'd like to be able to put in my own amount.

After doing that, I'd like to go back and redo the calculations with another amount (for "on peak" times). So I need a calculator with some flexibility.

Do any of you know about an energy calculator that would let me do this? If so, please share the link. Thanks! =)

  1. It's best to use a KILOWATT calculator.

odograph website has a calculator that you may INPUT the COST-PER-KWH -> http://www.odograph.com/experiments/php/...

CSG Network has a calculator that you can input the cost per kwh then it can break the cost down by day, month and year ->

    http://www.csgnetwork.com/energycostcalc...

K/E Electric Supply has this ->

    http://www.keelectric.com/ketools/Kilowa...

Well from what you are requesting I'd suggest using the first two calculators that are listed above.  I hope this helps and thanks for being concerned about the energy you use and how much you pay.

  2. You can get that information directly off your electric bill
