  1. well i wouldn't wanna skull anything just before an intense sport but assuming otherwise it would probablt give you quick energy and then burn out pretty quick

  2. yes, the give you energy, but they're just all sugar and caffine so they burn out really quickly. they're not good for long distance running or a game of something

  3. Those things are bad for you no matter when you take them!  Stay away from them.  They are just full of sugar and other c**p.  If you want energy before playing sports, take a nap and eat a good meal.

  4. Forget red bull, it's not designed for athletes or people participating in sport. You want something with glucose in it, such as one of the lucozade range or stuff like Powerade etc.

  5. instant boost sudden stop - i strongly do not believe in this product, they make you feel heavy afterwards, full on sugar and empty carbs that get stored by your liver so quickly. best to eat well during the day not to eat heavy 2hr before exercise and hydrate before the activity after hydrate again and cool down, listen to your body don't over eat or under eat water is more importaint to keep the muscle well hydrated so that the quick and slow fibres can work together to increase your preformance.

  6. It depends on your body type, the activity and the drink. You don't want to depend on this stuff especially with all the carbonation, which is detrimental to you muscle performance. These drinks also contain a lot of caffeine, which is a diuretic; it dries you out fast and can give you cotton mouth, not good when working hard or playing sports. However, taken in moderation along with a regular intake of water can work. VitaminWater Energy has no carbonation and very little caffine. It's better to have something with potassium. If you're going to experiment with this stuff do it in early training long before an event and see how it affects you. It's always best to condition your body so that you are not dependant on "energy drinks" especially if you're competing because when it comes down to you and the opponent, what is gonna count is your own ability, hard work, and determination not the drink.
