  1. That was not to do with the low energy lamps. Look elsewhere for your problem- yes you do have one.

  2. kryptonite

  3. These bulbs are just compact fluorescent lights and are now much better than they were when first introduced - you will have to get use to them soon as filament lamps are going to be phased out in a couple of years ( or start stocking up on them!!)

  4. I've never heard of this phenomenon. I use energy-saving light bulbs, and everything works just fine.

  5. I have Read that these contain a Lot of Mercury and you are not advised to Handle them, but to use a Cloth or Tissue Paper when Taking them out or putting them in. They are very bad for your Health and are Poisonous because  of the Mercury. They never Published this Information on the Instructions and it has only been revealed to the Media recently. I have never  had any Problems with my Television so you must have Faulty Wiring in your House.

Edit I have just been told by another Yahoor that it is Safe to Handle the Bulbs provided they are not Broken. If it is broken then use a Tissue or Material to Handle the Broken Pieces, as it is then Dangerous to your Health. They the Manufacturers never say anything about this on the Cartons. So Thank you for this Information to the Other Yahoor who contacted me.
