  1. A)  Hydroelectric Dams:  High start up cost, environmental clearance almost impossible to get and high maintenance cost for future operations.

    B)  Nuclear Power Plants:  High start up cost, environmental clearance almost impossible to get and high maintenance cost for future operations.

    C)  Solar Panel Farms:  High start up cost, environmental clearance is easy to get and low maintenance cost for future operations.


  2. I agree with what was said previously but would like to add, with

    hydroelectric we've already tapped most of the places where it is practical to build and with nuclear there is a big back side cost in the form of radioactive waste which stays dangerous for "thousands" of years, and unless we're planing on putting it on rockets and shooting it towards the sun or something we are going to have to live with it for a very very long time.
