I babysit twin eight year olds every day. They get pretty bored. Does anyone no any outside games that we all could play? Please and thank you.

  1. Tag, you could do a sprinkler or you could make up a game.

  2. If you have pavement, two-square is fun.  All you need are chalk and a playgroud ball.  Also, since there are two of them, you could try different kinds of racing activities.  Maybe race backward, or on one foot, or bear-walk.  Take turns coming up with new ways of walking/running to race with.  Tag is great, and there are lots of variations (freeze tag, etc.) but that is more fun with more palyers.  Hide and go seek is a classic.  You could also play two-person kickball, or tee ball.  You can pitch, and they can take turns kicking and fielding.  If it's rainy or cold, or they are just bored outside, try playing board games.  Some of those things can take hours (life, monopoly) and they are pretty fun.

  3. When I was 8 I liked doing things like:

    going in a pool

    playing with dolls

    playing house

    going in a sprinkler

    going to a park

    etccc

  4. Freeze tag, sprinkler, kickball, hopscotch, color, draw with chalk, make a fort with chairs and blankets, bake something, play house.

just ask them what they normally do, and do that.
