Engagement Party Thank You Notes

My best friend recently had her engagement party and has asked me if she needs to send thank you notes to those who brought gifts.

Do you need to do them for the engagement party as well as the Wedding or just the Wedding?

You need to send a thank you note for each gift you receive.( Its a lot easier than paying for sometimes 3 separate gifts for any wedding) For example a engagement gift, a shower gift and a wedding gift will need to be acknowledged with separate notes even if they are from the same person

You need to send a thank you for every gift you get, whenever you get it. She needs to send thank yous for the presents she gets at her engagement party, her bridal shower, and her wedding. She needs to send them asap.
