Engagement present for my gf besides a ring?

Hi i am getting married after 6 years of relationship we are planning to move to another country and we don’t want to tell anyone that we are getting married, we want to get each other something besides rings or bracelets so do you guys have any suggestions,

P.D we are spending all our savings on moving so we are a little low on cash!!

Get her a bouquet or roses and chocolate and maybe a picture of you guys in a cute little frame.

well u can get a ring and put in on a chain for her and she can wear it as a necklace.

or you can get like a locket and put a pic of the 2 of u in it and a nice sweet saying on the inside.. these are all for her but idk what u can wear sorry.

Instead of buying her something give her something she'll always remember.

If i were in your shoes i'd do something worth remembering for years to come, something no one can top. Plan out a whole day for her, plant little boxes with messages in them all around familiar areas with a special something at the end. Take her to a beach late at night and stay up till dawn, collect sea shells together and write special things within them. Try mix tapes and scrap books, she'll love them.

Make her an album of your special times. By each picture write your thoughts about her on that day. At the beginning it might be "She's cute." Then, "I can't believe she _________."

Then, "I've never felt this way about anyone." Then, "I think I'm falling in love." etc etc. Be honest and sweet, even funny if the situation calls for it. She will cry when she gets to the "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you" on your engagement page. Good luck!

If she likes jewellery than I'd say earrings.  Or a necklace if she likes them.  If she's an avid photographer you could get her a lens for her camera or something.  Something long lasting, that will be frequently used/seen, not something she will say "oh yeah, when we got engaged he gave me a _______, maybe I can find it."  I think you should get her a ring in the future though, I'm sure she'll love to have one when it becomes affordable.

Or a vase for your new home.  That's my personal vote.  A gorgeous vase, and an arrangement of her favourite flowers (make sure to take pics for sentimentality).   If you find a nice design store you can probably get a very nice vase for about $30.  Dozen roses for $12.
