Engine Light just turned on 2004 Dodge Neon?

Question

I have a 2004 Dodge Neon with about 28K miles...never had any issues until coming back from lunch and service light appears...any ideas before taking it in?

have someone pull the trouble code for it, chances are its just a sensor that's causing that to happen,even a loose gas cap on the newer ones will cause that too happen,especially on the newer ones,hopefully it will be something simple but don't buy nothing for it until you know for sure,good luck.

Have Auto Zone or similar read the code with an OBD 2 scanner, then address the problem, by fixing it at the source or with Auto Zone parts,

It may be small, vacuum leak, loose wire or something.
