  1. coz Ferrari never had a reliable and problem-free car

  2. It's never happened to me, but probably is cuz you're shifting gears on very high revs all the time.

Or maybe it´s just a game malfuction.

  3. It's never happened to me. I've only had one engine failure in the whole time I have been playing the game and that was a Williams during practice once. I had hydraulics fail once in a Red Bull and those are the only mechanical failures I've had. I started playing the game in November.

  4. "In the red Ferrari" they've been red for almost a century. Anyway to your question, engine failure on F1CE primarily occurs during GP Weekend, WC Mode and Career.

The main culprit to engine failure is over using the engine, especially in the practice sessions and qualifying before the race. Find your car settings early, get your qualifying laps done, get off the track. If you waste time driving and not developing the car or redline the engine too much it is likely during the race when your in 7th gear and the engine redlines again after a long weekend you will see a good ol trail of white smoke behind you as your engine stops. Happy Racing!
