Engine oil in hyundai accent?

Question

how much oil goes in the engine in the hyundai accent 1.5cdx 12v

2000 model, have been told 3.5l and 4l any help will be good

as haynes do not make a book for this car

You will need 3.5L including filter capacity.  3.3L is the engine capacity and 0.2L is the filter capacity.

hi its between 3.5-4l but check the oil level beforeyou put too-much oil  you Will be safe good-luck

most likely 3.5. Fill it up with 3l and then check your dipstick. It should be in the full range. Whatever you do don't fill it up to the brim to see. If the oil in the sump touches the crank shaft or the rods you'll be having a boat load of problems in no time.

This information can often times be located in the owners manual of the car. however most motors with filter change will take 4 to 4.5 quarts of oil.
