Engineering school. UCSD or Cal Poly SLO?

For engineering schools, which is a better choice? UCSD or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo? I'm looking into electronic engineering.

I went to ucsd as an undergrad and currently in calpoly for grad.  The main difference is that ucsd teaches you the fundamentals of engineering principles which is good if you decide to do research, calpoly slo is a little more hands on but I feel its better to have a stronger fundamental background than just a more hands on because you can always learn the hands on in industry whereas the fundamentals are something that you can take with you to solve more complex and new problems.
