Earlier, the availability of Afridi for the English county was jeopardized after the PCB decided to revoke the 31-year old all-rounder’s NOC, without which Afridi could not enter the county tournament.
However, after http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755’s interior minister, Rehman Malik’s intervention in the feud between Afridi and PCB, the matter was finally resolved after Afridi agreed to revoke his petition against the PCB in the Singh High Court.
According to insiders, Afridi agreed to appear before PCB’s disciplinary committee, which slapped a fine of 4.5 million rupees on the former one-day skipper and consequently, an NOC was awarded to him.
Insiders have revealed that the hard hitting batsman is happy with the arrangement between him and the board as he can now venture into the English county without any hindrance.

Apparently Afridi was not http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Arthur-Percival-Day-c45927 with the PCB after he was removed from the captaincy of the national team because of his outburst against the team management, during Pakistan’s tour of the Caribbean.

This did not go down well with the PCB chairman, and the PCB, in a bid to teach the outspoken Afridi a lesson, terminated his central contract and revoked his NOC, barring him from playing international cricket anywhere in the world.
However, Afridi decided to take the board to court and just as when things were really looking to take a turn for the worse, a political intervention resolved the matter without any further problems.
