  1. Looks like the end of a legend .

Mind you , I said that about Grant Fox and he went on to play the best rugby of his career.

  2. Pom rugby is stuck in a time warp. They won the RWC in part thanks to Wilko's boot in 2003 but they seem to think that playing the way they played back then will still deliver wins. Unfortunately for the Poms, world rugby and techniques have moved on from those glorious, grind it out and hope for a penalty or a drop goal to win ,days. Rugby is a game that evolves and if you don't evolve with the game you'll get left behind. Look south for the latest rugby trends . Wales did Lol!!!! jstjkg.

  3. With Wilko's ability to kick long distances, accurately (You can't take that away from him) the remaining 14 players have forgoten what to do with the ball when they get possession

  4. At the moment the team is not good enough, end of story. Same  applies to football and cricket

  5. It looks like a panic measure to me. As an Irishman I would be delighted to see Jonny on the bench for the whole 80 minutes. Cipriani has great potential but seems to be prone to error.

  6. They need a complete new team!!

  7. I think that the whole set up needs to be looked at myself.

    Starting from the top.

For one, I cannot understand why the h**l someone like "the Volcano" or Balshaw are  choosing over a class player like Lewsey, who is not even considered (Has he retired?)!

All pressure put on Wilko is unfair and he gets dropped and the other 14 stay..........the whole team was abysmal against Scotland.........the same players that turn out and play well for their club...... maybe not Balshaw !!!!!!

Wales had this problem and changed more or less the whole coaching staff.........maybe it is time England did the same, starting with Rob Andrew!

  8. Wilkinson is not at the end of his career. It really annoys me when I hear people blaming every England loss on him.

It was the way the whole team played that we lost on Saturday. It wasn't just his fault!

  9. When it's your time to go - leave with dignity.

  10. He is being made a scapegoat for the dismal performance of the forwards. Whilst he had a poor game last Saturday, which of them didn't? The only player to merit inclusion in the Ireland game is probably Sackey. How Vainakolo (as with Farrell before him!) erits a place in the team, I dont know. Fine, drop Wilko but drop the other 15 - 20 players who were rubbish as well. And for heavens sake, let's sack Vickery and Ashton now. It is obvious that neither of them are up to their respective jobs.

  11. lets face it england are screwed with out wilko and his drop goals lol

  12. "sack Wilko"

I don't think anyone has said that.

    He's not starting on saturday.

But he'll come on in the second half and play OK, score a few more points. He's a points machine, and a really nice bloke.
