  1. Looks like USAir is cheapest around that time.  http://www.usair.com

I checked Canadian Affair for you, but they don't offer anything from Ottawa in winter.

Nonstops are only operated by Air Canada on this route during your time frame.  Currently, they're $1076.  USAir comes up cheapest at $760.  To me, "best" would be saving $300 to use on other Christmas expenses.

  2. To fly to London from Ottawa and vice versa:

    British Airways: http://www.britishairways.com/travel/hom...

    Air Canada: http://www.aircanada.com/en/home.html

    Air Transat: http://www.airtransat.ca/en/index.aspx

    British Midland (BMI): http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-ca/index.as...

Canadian Affair: http://www.canadian-affair.ca/ although it shows outbound flights are unavailable but you could try with different dates before Christmas if you are flexible

I also use a travel agency online/in person to not only go to England but Barbados as well, it can come up with some pretty great deals.

By the way, Virgin Atlantic does not fly to nor from Canada. Keep in mind if you did not know that prices are subjected to change, i.e. you check today for next week Tuesday flight to find a different price tomorrow.

  3. zoom?

  4. I would prefer Virgin Atlantic but I think Air Canada offers the most non-stop flights between London and Canada.
