England, well played, but please don't go on here boasting etc. Take victory with pride but grace.

Aussie fans, you should still be proud of your team despite today's performance - take the defeat in good grace.

I hate the post match gloating/whinging - We don't need it.

I hate the post match gloating and whinging too, but I hate the pre match arrogance competition even more..so this post match gloating is a good antidote I feel..

Go England! That's what I say!!!  I'm a kiwi, but I was so cheering for England to win!!! ( And by the way, Johnny Wilkinson,  do you have a girlfriend, and do you like older women?!!!  lol! )  Now THERE's a whole new topic of conversation!!

lol yep agreed.... I thought it would be a better game, however I think after match gloating and whinging is all part n parcel of what rugby is all about..... handle it! after all we will be doing the same thing this morning when the ABs play france and whether we win or loose we will handle it!

the aussies r worse than english, they r so cocky then they loose. don't think anyone thought england wud win, well done lads. if aussies won they wud b ripping it out of us, lets just rip it out of them, their reputation is in tatters, i hope they r all crying in their wooden huts

We were beaten fair & square. If you give it out then you have to be prepared to cop it back.

That would have to be the worst performance I have ever seen from the Wallabies in the past 30 years!!!

Turning point of the match - Mortlock electing to have a shot at goal from 60+ yards out, with the score at 12-10. Why the fu<k didn't they kick to the corner, take the lineout & attack from inside the English 22? But no, old Stirlo wanted to be a hero.

Well done Poms, don't think the Kiwis saw too much to worry them in that game though.......

Just got an email in from one of the Poms I work with:

£600 for ticket to watch the semi final

£100 for flight to Paris

£40 for new Wallabies jersey

Seeing (aussie5468) storm out of my room as the full time whistle blew..........priceless

I do believe that the Aussies are poor losers and always full of excuses when they lose.  They never give the other side credit.  However, I do feel sorry for them.  It hurts when your side loses.  Congratulations to England and to the England fans, you have every right to gloat after the nasty ribbing the aussies have given you guys on this forum.  Just dont sink to their level though.  I lived in Australia for 12 years and so I know first hand how arrogant they are, but to lose does hurt so lets have a little compassion.
