  1. I meant to add few details, but I don't think you'll get a better answer than the one you got from Paco.

In terms of morality, generally speaking, in western countries, a married man isn't "allowed" to have mistresses.

Legally speaking, it is not a crime, though it can perhaps be used in a divorce court for the division of assets (which is not particularly the case in California, for instance)

  2. I don't know about Prince Phillips affairs or whether he even had any. I wasn't there.

As to Queen Elizabeths great great grandmother this depends on which one. Queen Victoria is both the queens and Prince Phillips great great grandmother. So it is not her.

  3. It has not been known how many mistresses he had. Although I can in fact tell you that some of the tabloids believe that he used to cheat on Queen Elizabeth II a long time ago. But no longer does that. If you ask me he is now too old and grumpy and can't get a woman now. LOL

He was Lt. Mountbatten. But I don't think his Uncle gave him the title. And he made it up himself. You should go online and look him up. He has a very crazy long name. I hate it, because it does not make since.

    Hope this helps!,

  4. Louis Mountbatten and his wife had an "open marriage" where they both had numerous affairs. I never heard of a 2nd wife and I've never heard that rumour about his nephew. I have never seen a laundry list of his mistresses, but I am sure they are not a secret.

The Prince George, Duke of Kent ( 20 December 1902 - 25 August 1942) the Queen's uncle was born about the same time as Louis Mountbatten carried on numerous affairs with both men and women. The better known of his partners included the African-American cabaret singer Florence Mills, banking heiress Poppy Baring, socialite Margaret Whigham (later Duchess of Argyll), musical star Jessie Matthews and actor Noel Coward, with whom he carried on a 19-year affair.

    ------------------------------

As to your question "was this allowed?", as far as I know it is not illegal to have affairs. The habit of the 6th Duke of Westminster of buying numerous high priced prostitutes is illegal.

    ------------------------------

The phrase "Prince Phillips now wife's great great grandmother" is not specific enough. It could refer to Queen Victoria, who is Queen Elizabeth's great great grandmother.

  5. Okay, trying to patch through this.

    1. I daresay that is one of the lamest rumours around.

    2. A rumour as well. How many mistresses anybody had or has is something that hardly anybody apart from the people involved would be able to say. "Allowed"? Well, on a moral ground, certainly not. Having affairs is not forbidden by law, though. If people knew about things like these, they simply shut up about it. Bottom line.
