today on September 29.
The India Women won the toss and elected to bat first, but barring the efforts of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Poonam-Ganesh-Raut-c82377, the batting order remained largely ineffective, with the England Women restricting them to 116 by the end of 20 overs.

Kaur remained lacklustre, contributing only three runs before http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jhulan-Goswami-c66974 (10) attempted to bring the innings back on track, setting up an 18-run partnership with Raj.

In response, the England Women needed just 18 overs to chase the target down successfully, losing only one wicket in the process.
Their innings hinged largely on a solid 78-run opening stand between Player of the Match Edwards (who top-scored for her side with an unbeaten 50) and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Simon-James-Marshall-c90362 (39).
The partnership came to an end with the dismissal of Marsh at the hands of Malhotra. However, the England Women did not lose any more wickets, as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 (25*) teamed up with Edwards to get the team safely over the finish line, and their unbeaten 40-run stand
