England announces squad against Scotland – Six Nations update
Alex Corbisiero has been called in the England’s squad for the Scotland’s clash at Twickenham on Sunday in a Six Nations fixture. Corbisiero will be winning his third cap for his national side on Sunday.
Corbisiero is replacing Andrew Sheridan, who is injured and this is probably the only change so far that England has made since the thrashing of France by 17-9 two weeks ago. The London Irish prop has given some impressive starts at club level and even in
his debut against Italy four weeks ago. After Sheridan was forced out of the field due to a torn calf, it was Corisiero who was called on to carry on in such a responsible position.
Sheridan has been sidelined for atleast four weeks, which means he will be ruled out of the entire Six Nations campaign. On the other hand, Toby Flood, who was expected to be recovering a bit late has fully recovered and will be retaining his number-ten
shirt as a fly half.  This development means that Jonny Wilkinson will be benched yet again and the fate of World Cup winner will remain a mystery.
On the benches, there have been a couple of changes made. Tom Croft, the Leicester Tigers’ flanker will be replacing Hendre Fourie of Leeds on bench. Tom Croft just recovered from a shoulder injury which he picked in November against Springboks. In another
replacement, Paul Doran the Gloucester’s prop will be taking the seat vacated by Corbisiero.
Courtney Lawes, who also had recovered from injury, will have to be patient and wait for Martin Johnson’s call. Simon Shaw is still Johnson’s first choice for second row since Lawes’ knee ligament injury.
England is going unbeaten in this Six nations and are looking forward for their first Gran Slam title since Martin Johnson was himself a skipper in 2003. Scotland has not won at the Twickenham’s pitch since 1983 and England is already hot favorites, but
we cannot be definite about any outcome as yet.
England squad:

Ben Foden (Northampton Saints); Chris Ashton (Northampton Saints), Mike Tindall (Gloucester Rugby, captain), Shontayne Hape (Bath Rugby), Mark Cueto (Sale Sharks); Toby Flood (Leicester Tigers), Ben Youngs (Leicester Tigers); Alex Corbisiero (London Irish), Dylan Hartley (Northampton Saints), Dan Cole (Leicester Tigers), Louis Deacon (Leicester Tigers), Tom Palmer (Stade Francais), Tom Wood (Northampton Saints), James Haskell (Stade Francais), Nick Easter (Harlequins)
Replacements:
